He provided a detailed, item-by-item estimate of all the work involved. I could pick and choose what I wanted to get done. The work included hardscaping, building retaining walls, and adding drainage to lead the water out to the front of the house. The work started as agreed and was done on time within the budget. His crew fixed a couple of things as well without charging me extra. I was very pleased with the overall outcome of this project and would not hesitate to hire Pedro for more work. Ruiz Landscaping did an outstanding job for us, replacing our front yard retaining wall with a greystone block wall. It was a tough job, requiring the crew to first remove the pressure-treated lumber one I had build 15 years ago. As far as me replacing the wall myself, I'm afraid that ship sailed years ago. One back surgery was enough. Folks, don't break your "do it yourself" bodies. Call Ruiz Landscaping - you won't regret it. These guys are amazing. The tan bricks match those already on my house. No doubt the new curb appeal has increased the value of our home.
My wall was done in a week despite the April rains. The wall is 110"feet long and up to 45" high. The crew even worked under a camping canopy tent in the torrents. They were always punctual.
I've been working almost daily in my new garden, planting dahlias, transplanting roses etc. No fewer than 4 neighbors have approached me asking for Ruiz's phone number. The price they gave me was four-figures less than the nearest quote. Take my advice and just call these guys. You won't regret it.

Pedro and his team at Ruiz Landscaping are the best. We recently built an outdoor living space and knew we needed a major yard update to bring our entire vision to life. We've used Ruiz Landscaping in the past for drainage and other smaller yard projects and knew we wanted his team to do this project too. Plus since this was such a big project for us we wanted to go with someone we knew we could trust and who would provide high-quality work. Ruiz Landscaping installed a full-yard irrigation system, removed our own lawn and brought in new sod, moved and transplanted some trees, built a fence around our garden area, installed new gate doors, leveled out our yard, brought in new bark and mulch, and last but not least created a paver pathway and circular firepit area with lighting. It all turned out AMAZING and we couldn't be happier. The paver work alone is incredible! If you choose to go with Ruiz Landscaping, you'll be very happy with the end results.
